Diplomacy • Live paintingA speed glitter painting for the official opening ceremony, connecting two countries on one canvas.
The opening of a national pavilion at a World Expo is a diplomatic occasion with cameras on it. The Embassy of Ukraine wanted a live moment that celebrated the connection between Ukraine and the UAE, performed by an artist who belongs to both.
A speed glitter painting created live at the ceremony, with the pavilion’s Smart Ukraine theme and a skyline that joins the two countries.
The painting became part of the ceremony record and a proud moment for the artist as a Ukrainian and a UAE resident.
