Government • Sand animationThe UAE Innovates theme drawn live in sand for the country’s Innovation Month programme.
Innovation Month is the UAE’s annual celebration of new ideas across government and industry. The brief was to show the spirit of the theme rather than list its projects.
A live sand animation at a lit table with twin screens overhead, so visitors could watch the hands and the picture at once. The sequence opened on the UAE Innovates emblem and moved into the ideas behind it.
A hands-on piece of a national programme, performed where the public could stand close enough to see the sand move. The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation presented a Certificate of Recognition for UAE Innovates in 2020.
